These compasses are great for throwing in your pack or anywhere else you think you might need a compass. This model can also be attached to a watch band or small strap. They are small and light enough that you won't even notice they are there until you need them. Even though they are inexpensive, they are accurate. Each one is checked against a professional Suunto surveyor compass for accuracy before being shipped. Due to their small size, you won't be doing any map orienteering with them, but they will help point you in the right direction.
