Iron bathroom rim lock & knob sets are the perfect choice if you are looking for a rustic, vintage style surface mounted door lock. These rim locks are made from solid cast iron and have a simple deadbolt, operated by a solid brass locking snib situated along the top edge of the rim box. The latch and inner mechanisms are made from solid brass.

Rim locks are the oldest type of door lock. These locks are designed to be fitted onto the surface of a door, rather than being morticed into the edge. Iron rim locks are ideal for period properties and vintage inspired interiors.

Please note: Bathroom rim locks are handed and you will need to choose the correct handing for your door. If your door opens inwards and is hinged on the left, you will need the left hand rim lock. See our .
